Tseung Kwan O South East New Territories Solar Farm

The Group, through its principal joint venture Green Valley Landfill Limited, has developed Hong Kong’s first privately funded and the largest solar farm ever built on a landfill.

Located on a valley slope at the South East New Territories Landfill in Tseung Kwan O, the solar farm is designed to generate 1.2 million kWh of electricity annually, effectively reducing carbon emissions by approximately 468 tonnes per year — equivalent to the carbon dioxide absorption capacity of about 20,000 trees.
