To promote environmental awareness and foster a love of nature, the Group and Green Power have run the Love Nature Campaign since 2011, integrating learning with outdoor clean-up. Through initiatives such as beach and countryside clean-ups, school programmes, community outreach, and training and teaching materials for educators, the Group aims to encourage young people and their families to help conserve the environment.
SHKP and Green Power have jointly developed Nature Rescue, Hong Kong’s first free mobile app focused on cleaning up Hong Kong’s countryside and coastal regions. The app provides a platform to connect members of the public and mobilize them to participate in clean-up activities while enjoying Hong Kong’s natural landscapes. Nature Rescue also collaborates with The Point, SHKP’s integrated shopping mall loyalty programme, to promote an unconventional kind of green consumption.
