The Hong Yip Service Company has won a Top Service Brand award from the Hong Kong Brand Development Council and the Chinese Manufacturers Association of Hong Kong.  Hong Yip took the coveted Top Service Brand award after a stringent evaluation based on reputation, distinctiveness, innovation, quality, image, environmental performance and social responsibility.  Just 18 entrants from various industries made it to the final round, where they had to go through a rigorous vetting process by the judging panel, on-site assessments and a pubic poll at the Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo.  The award demonstrates Hong Yip’s commitment to being Hong Kong’s best property and facility management company creating ideal homes for our customers.  Hong Yip is a subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties and follows parent company’s dedication to ‘Building Homes with Heart’.

Living Green

Climate change is a major issue and Hong Yip encourages its staff and customers to adopt green measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  Hong Yip also emphasizes on measures to reduce its carbon footprint include pollution controls, waste reduction and recycling, energy saving, horticulture, green procurement, air quality, environmental promotion and education, all to create ideal living environments for our customers.

Customer First

Hong Yip has skilled technicians overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of buildings, and since 2001 it has had a Quality Assurance Scheme to upgrade properties with things like improvements to building lobbies and repairing external walls.  The scheme runs in five-year phases and to date 90% of the buildings under Hong Yip management have taken part, improving appearance and market value.

The company has been providing many special services such as including free laundry delivery, grocery bargains, selling stamps and delivering mail, home cleaning, household repairs, seasonal special offers and more to make resident’s lives easier. 

Social Responsibility

Hong Yip encourages employees and customers to do all sorts of voluntary service, and it now has 38 volunteer sub-teams with 700 members to promote volunteering systematically and effectively.  The Hong Yip volunteers participated in 45 service activities in 2010.  Hong Yip is committed to corporate social responsibility and helping the needy in society.
